Mini ep. 3: Back home
Starring: The Doctor and Georgia
With:
Elizabeth
Richard
And Colin
A week had gone by with no news of Georgia until she rang up out of the blue. Elizabeth answered the phone and was amazed to hear that her daughter was safe. Georgia had now phoned 5 times since then and it was only a few days on from that phone call.
In the TARDIS Georgia was talking to the Doctor.
“Can I visit Earth?” Georgia asked, “Pwease Doctor.” Georgia begged and then laughed, realising how stupid she may of looked.
“Of course we’ll go to Earth, but I bet you a tenner we’ll get caught in an invasion,” the Doctor asked.
“Fine, the bet is on, home time!” Georgia said, as the TARDIS lurched into January 2010. The TARDIS materialised at the park where the Doctor had first met Georgia. It seemed so long ago, but on Earth only two weeks. As Georgia got out the TARDIS, she whooped and cheered.
“You looney,” the Doctor said, as he saw Georgia dancing around him.
“Come on its time to meet the parents,” Georgia said, marching the Doctor to her home.
At Georgia’s house, Richard, her brother, was watching T.V with Colin, Georgia’s father. Elizabeth was in the front room when she saw Georgia walking up the drive.
“She’s home,” Elizabeth called to her husband, “Oh she’s finally back. And she’s brought a handsome man with her”. Georgia and Elizabeth hugged, as Elizabeth opened the front door and then Colin hugged Georgia and so did Richard.
“So he’s the Doctor is he,” Colin asked Georgia “What political party do you support?”
“Um, no party,” the Doctor replied, a little confused. However, Georgia worked out that her father was seeing if the Doctor was boyfriend material.
“He’s not my boyfriend. Just a travelling companion,” Georgia snapped at her father, “Honestly, don’t you listen to my phone calls? Don’t ask me any questions about where I’ve gone because I won’t answer, as you won’t believe me!”
“Come on in Georgia, mum was just making tea,” Richard said. After a while the whole family were laughing at the Doctor’s jokes and Georgia was telling the story of how she saved the Earth from the Magnet Warriors. Georgia then asked, “So what has happened to you since Christmas?”
“Well I found the till for my fish and chip shop in a pond,” Richard answered, “All the money was soaking wet. Mum found our torch and we found all our cutlery. You see everyone gathered all the cutlery together and we found our set along with loads of other people, but then some people stole some cutlery pretending it was their own”.
“Then we worked out that you weren’t here and went to the police!” Elizabeth laughed.
“Elizabeth was almost at the ship when she fell weren’t you dear!” Colin piped in.
“Yes, you know they used those helicopters and the valiant to hold up that giant net!” Elizabeth told them, “The helicopter pilots were very nice.”
“Mum fainted ‘cause she’s scared of heights!” Richard joked and Georgia smiled when she realised the Doctor had stood up.
“Are we going now?” Georgia asked the Doctor.
“If we leave now, then we’ll catch the meteor strike on Pluto,” the Doctor announced.
“We believe you Georgia,” Colin said kindly “Off you go save the world.”
“Look after her Doctor”, Elizabeth ordered. The whole family followed them out of the house and waved them goodbye. Richard followed them all the way to the park.
“Bye Georgia, so what’s that?” Richard asked, as they reached the TARDIS.
“It’s a time machine,” Georgia answered truthfully, as she followed the Doctor into the blue box.
“Right then. Bye!” Richard shouted as the TARDIS began to dematerialise, “You go Girl!”
In the TARDIS, Georgia cornered the Doctor and said “Don’t think I’ve forgotten. The tenner please.” The Doctor gave Georgia the ten pound note and began their next adventure.
