Episode 1: Conner Part 5
Conner and Zac run from the lab, and back down a corridor. As they pass a door they hear a shout from the Doctor.
“Let her go!” the Doctor shouted.
Having run past, Conner runs back to the door.
“DOCTOR!” Conner cried.
“Who is this Doctor? Wait, I’m coming!” Zac cried, following after.
Conner grabs the door, but finds that it is locked. He pulls out the Sonic Screwdriver from his pocket. He Sonics the door open.
“How did you know how to do that?” Zac asked.
“I dunno. I just did it!” Conner replied.
They burst into the room where Georgia is being held by Velox. Conner throws some Hudson at him. His body becomes shrivelled, as he is sucked dry of oil. He hits the floor, dead.
“Conner, just at the right time! And who’s this?” the Doctor asked.
“He’s Zac, a friend of mine who has a laptop,” Conner replied.
“Doctor! Thank you!” Araknin cried.
“It’s OK,” the Doctor grinned embarrassedly.
“Eh?” Conner asked.
“Eh?” Zac asked.
“Eh?” Georgia asked.
The Doctor rolled his eyes as if to say ‘not again!’.
“He was starting to rebel against me. I think he has turned the troops against me too. I can’t call off the invasion,” Araknin said sadly.
“They ran away from their war, but needed a planet with both water and oil,” the Doctor said as way of explanation.
“Ah. Is there anywhere else you could go?” Conner asked.
Before anyone can answer, an Octopli guard runs into the room, holding some Hudson in a protection glove on his hand.
“Go to hell!” the Guard cried.
He throws the Hudson at Araknin, and then pours the rest on himself. They are both dead before they hit the floor.
“Suicide killer. They must be getting desperate,” the Doctor said sadly.
“Poor Araknin. He was nice,” Georgia added quietly.
“Now he definitely can’t call off the invasion!” Zac cried.
“Doctor, what can we do?” Conner asked desperately.
“Well, we need to hack into their arms, through Velox’s secret rebel system, and we need to guard the doors. Think we can do that?” the Doctor asked.
Georgia runs to the doors, and peers out of them into the corridor. Zac opens his laptop.
“I’m patching into the cameras on the ship. We’ve got Octopli on their way. They must know about everything,” Zac said to the Doctor.
“Zac, come here!” Conner cried.
Zac ran out into the corridor, with Georgia and Conner.
“Can you hear it?” Conner asked “they’re coming.”
Zac turns around to go back to the laptop, but runs into the door. He falls down to the floor, knocked out.
“Ouch,” Conner muttered.
Conner runs over to the laptop.
“What are we gonna do now?” Conner asked the Doctor.
“You’ll have to do it,” the Doctor replied.
“Me? But Zac’s the computer whiz!” Conner cried.
“I don’t know enough of the laptop’s technology to do it myself, it has to be you,” the Doctor said.
Conner starts pressing buttons.
“I’m in! Now we need a password. If we get it wrong, the troops are alerted,” Conner warns.
The Doctor bent down to take a look. Across the far side of the room, Georgia was attempting to break down some wooden beams to barricade the doors.
“What about your Parents?” the Doctor asked, out of the blue.
“They’re not at home. They’re working, on the Spidership. My Dad built my wardrobe by the way. He made it HUGE. That’s how your ship could fit in it,” Conner said sadly.
“The first word is seven letters long, the second is two and the last five,” the Doctor read, back to being lively again.
“It’s probably something he told you. Remember, passwords are usually someone’s favourite word or nickname,” Conner said.
“Of course!” the Doctor cried “Bringer of Death was his childhood nickname!”
“Cheerful,” Conner muttered “now what? Menu? Doctor, what do I do?”
“Umm… You… I don’t know. I’m sorry,” the Doctor said, crestfallen.
“Then we’ll have to get someone who does know!” Georgia shouted from across the room.
“But who?” Conner asked.
“ZAC!” Georgia shouted.
Conner ran across to where Zac was unconscious. He lifts Zac up, and shakes him.
“C’mon, Zac! Wake up,” Conner cried.
“Urgh,” Zac mutters.
Georgia runs over to the two friends, and slaps Zac across the face. Zac sits bolt upright. Georgia grins cheekily. Conner looks at her and smiles. He pulls Zac over to the laptop. Zac begins typing furiously.
“Menu. Now all I have to do is type a message,” Zac said.
Georgia screams from across the room. She and Conner are holding the door shut. The door is being forced on the other side by numerous Octopli. Georgia and Conner push with all their might.
“‘Abort the invasion! Get back to the Spaceship!’ There, that should do it,” Zac muttered.
“Doctor, we can’t hold it forever!” Georgia screamed.
“Oh yeah. Sorry. Quick, lock the door!” the Doctor yelled.
The Doctor throws the Sonic Screwdriver to Georgia. She Sonics the door, and she and Conner run towards the Doctor. The Doctor Sonics an outside door open, and he, Conner, Zac and Georgia escape through it. The Doctor Sonics the door shut.
“We’re still hacked into the rebel system! Let’s send the Octopli back into Space!” the Doctor cried.
Zac types into the laptop again. The Doctor takes over the laptop typing, and the arms of the Spaceship remove themselves from the ground, and the big Octopus ship zooms off into Space.
“Where did you send them?” Conner asked.
“Back to their war, just as it should be. I fought in a war once…” the Doctor said sadly.
“Oh my God!” Zac cried “my Parents! I’d better be getting back home. Thanks! Doctor, you’re pretty cool!”
Conner grins. Zac runs off without a backward glance.
“I’d love to see the Octopli home world. C’mon, let’s get back to my house, your ship’s still in my wardrobe!” Conner laughs.
The Doctor blushes.
Back at Conner’s house, the Doctor grabs Georgia’s arm.
“C’mon Georgia, we’d best be off,” the Doctor muttered.
“Go on! Ask him!” Georgia hissed.
“Oh all right,” the Doctor sighed.
“Thanks, he is sweet after all,” Georgia smiled.
Conner looks confused. The Doctor steps forward.
“Conner, do you want to come with us? Cause if you do, I’d better warn you, it’ll be dangerous, but the trip of a lifetime!” the Doctor said.
“Through time and space, and back again! If you want to, of course,” Georgia said, walking through the doors of the TARDIS.
“Would I? Yes!” Conner cried.
The Doctor leads him into the TARDIS.
“It’s bigger on the inside!” Conner cried.
“Really? Where?” the Doctor turned around “did I miss it? Where did it go?”
Georgia punches him playfully.
“Where do you wanna go?” Georgia asked.
“To the stars, and beyond!” Conner cried, grinning.

Very good story, well done.
It's kinda scary that Conner is a bit like me... sarcastic all the time. Lol.
Keep these great stories coming!
