Mini Ep. 2: Woman Wept

Woman Wept
Featuring:
The Doctor and Georgia
With: Jabba

The Doctor and Georgia were in the TARDIS. They were both laughing.
“Anyway, where next, the future?” the Doctor asked.
“OK, can I pick a year?” Georgia agreed, and the Doctor nodded, “The year 56789.”
“Right then, here we go!”, the Doctor smiled, as he pulled the main lever and the TARDIS whizzed from the past to the future. The Doctor pulled another lever, pushed a button and the TARDIS lurched, throwing Georgia on the floor. The Doctor laughed, as Georgia got up giggling too.
“Right we are on the planet Woman Wept which is 2 galaxies away from Earth,” the Doctor explained happily, as Georgia tried to stop giggling, “And this planet has loads of moons and is mostly beach and sea. When I came here before some form of cloud blocked this systems sun and the sea froze in a split second. I’m telling you this planet is amazing.”
“You must have been a bit lonely here on your own”, Georgia asked, “Or were you not alone?” But the Doctor didn’t seem to be listening. He ran to the door closely followed by Georgia and they stepped onto the beach. The Doctor started chasing Georgia down the beach, as Georgia sprinted to get to the sea. The planet looked magnificent, its sea was so slow and its waves were huge.

The Doctor grabbed Georgia and they both toppled over laughing uncontrollably. Georgia started playing with the sand while the Doctor stared into the sky. Georgia caught a glimpse of a massive wave out at sea.
“Doctor we should go or we’ll be swept off the beach!” Georgia shouted staring at the wave as it got closer.
“Don’t worry about the waves,” the Doctor replied “On this planet the waves get smaller when they come in land, I worked that out last time.” Georgia could see that he was right as the wave got closer it seemed to get smaller, but it was still a pretty big wave it came into shore and splashed Georgia and the Doctor.

“My hair. Brr this water’s very cold”, Georgia said shivering but then she waded in to have a paddle anyway.
“Georgia get out of the water,” the Doctor said staring at the sky.
“Why? This is fun!” Georgia shouted at him, but then she realised as she looked in the sky she saw the clouds blocking the sun and suddenly the ocean was frozen in a split second. Georgia gaped, then noticed that she was stuck. The Doctor ran onto the sea not even slipping.

“I was waiting, so we could walk under 50 foot high waves,” he Doctor said, getting his sonic out.
“Tha-tha-t isn’t-t-t m-much h-help,” Georgia stammered through chattering teeth, but just then she heard a honking noise and a little space ship about the size of a car crashed right next to her. The crash made cracks in the ice and Georgia ran straight out of the sea helped by the Doctor.
When they got to shore they saw a funny, little, green alien, around 5 foot high, staggering out of the crashed ship. It then kicked it with his foot and yowled in pain.
“You help me please,” the alien squeaked.
“Of course! Georgia hold the sonic screwdriver to your leg it’ll soon warm up,” the Doctor gave her his sonic screwdriver and ran over to the alien.
“It needs recharging, but Woman Wept has no power,” the alien said.
“Well this is your lucky day. I’m the Doctor by the way,” the Doctor said smiling.
“I’m Jabba, thank you for helping,” Jabba nodded, while the Doctor gaped.
“Hey Georgia, he’s called Jabba,” the Doctor shouted to Georgia.
“Great, Star Wars”, Georgia said sarcastically, as she pressed the sonic to her leg as she warmed up.

The Doctor then ran over to her after a conversation with Jabba and said “I need the sonic back thanks.” The Doctor ran back to Jabba, leaving Georgia to get cold again.
“Right, there we go Jabba your batteries are being recharged as we speak,” the Doctor informed Jabba, as he pressed the sonic into the controls. Jabba was gazing around looking at the waves.
“This place is beautiful,” Jabba commented “I will be telling my manager to come here.” The dial reached 100 and the Doctor smiled.
“All done?” Jabba asked.
“Yes, now have a good journey home Jabba and if you do come here, then don’t disturb the landscape!” the Doctor replied, as Jabba got back in his ship, waved goodbye and flew up into space.

“Well then Georgia I think you need some medicine,” the Doctor commented, as he realised Georgia was shivering. They walked into the TARDIS, as the sea returned to normal in a split second.

“I wanna phobe hobe,” Georgia said, taking a tablet. The Doctor took Georgia’s phone, bleeped it with his sonic screwdriver and gave it back to her.
“There you go, phone home, your phone is now up to date,” the Doctor said cheerily, as Georgia, with eyebrows raised, took the phone from the Doctor and typed in her home number.
“Hi mum,” she said and, to her surprise, her mum answered back.
