Episode 4: The Demon Headmaster Part 4

Conner was sitting in a toilet on the second floor. He did not know there was an assembly on and did not care. He was starting to wonder whether he should carry on travelling with the doctor. He knew that Zac was right about most things, but aliens in his school. He would not believe it until he saw it. He was sitting in a toilet cubicle when he heard the door open.

“I saw you come in here Conner”, a voice said, it was Bert’s. Conner stepped out of the cubicle and frowned.
“Why are you here?” Conner asked Bert.
“Well I was hiding in school all last night ‘cause I was being chased by an alien thing”, Bert explained, “Then I pressed myself against the wall and the beast ran straight past me”.

“Firstly, you think there are aliens here too, that makes 4”, Conner began, “Secondly I find that the beast didn’t notice you hard to believe, not because of your weight or …. Thirdly I didn’t mean why are you in school I meant, why are you in this toilet”.

“Well I skipped assembly cause I think it’s boring”, Bert said, “And because I saw you storm into here and I thought you needed cheering up”.
“Why don’t you like assembly?” Conner asked, “Not that I do or anything”.
“I don’t know”, Bert replied “Maybe because we have it every day of the week”.
“Since when”, Conner asked.
“Two months ago”, Bert replied.

“That was when I left”, Conner said thinking hard, “That’s also when the new head came along, when that spaceship was seen and so many other things”.
“The kitchens were put out of bounds too”, Bert continued, “And the way you tie your ties like that went out of fashion”.
“Maybe there are aliens here”, Conner muttered, “Thanks Bert you’ve cheered me up like you wanted now you can go”. Bert nodded, waved and left. Conner sat back down in the cubicle. Then he heard the door open.

“Why do we have to go in here”, Mrs Harrison asked as she entered the toilet followed by Mr. Ashmer.
“It’s somewhere where we won’t be overheard”, Mr Ashmer said, “Racsonfess has gone undercover”.

“I know that”, Mrs Harrison said annoyed, “And there’s no-one to overhear us anyway. All the students are in assembly and all the other teachers are either members of our family or they’re hypnotised”. Conner’s eyes widened at the word hypnotised.

“Anyway, look at this information which he sent us last night”, Mr. Ashmer told Mrs. Harrison.
“So he’s a time lord”, Mrs Harrison said, “We did think that. Will it work on him?”
“I think so as long as he doesn’t have some sort of weapon”, Mr. Ashmer replied.


The doctor and Harry were going to find the school kitchens where they did food tech class.
“Here it is but the door’s locked”, Harry said to the doctor.
“Don’t worry”, the doctor said as he bleeped his sonic on the lock.

“Wow cool device”, Harry said amazed, “Anyway apparently the explosion happened in here. No sign of it though”. The kitchen looked pretty normal, there were all kinds of ingredients around the kitchen. There was a pool of a colourless liquid on the floor which must have been there for months. The only un-ordinary thing was that there were pieces of what looked like green flesh scattered across the room.

“Maybe not the type of explosion you’re thinking about”, the doctor said looking at the pieces of flesh. The doctor then went over to the pool of liquid and scanned it.
“Its vinegar”, the doctor said putting his sonic screwdriver away, “I am certain what these aliens are now”.
“What are they?” Harry asked.

“They are from the planet Raxacoricofallapatorious”, the doctor said quickly, Harry raised his eyebrows.
“I’m guessing they killed the teachers”, the doctor explained.
“The teachers are dead”, Harry said shocked.
“And used their bodies as skinsuits”, the doctor continued, “They are hiding inside the teachers, they are the teachers”.

“Big D who’s that walking past the window”, Harry asked .The doctor swung round to see students in single file marching past the window. Their expressions were completely blank.

The doctor ran outside with Harry just in time to see Zac and Kaylie emerging from a door. They were also wearing blank expressions.
“They’ve been hypnotised!” The doctor told Harry.
“It seems like the demon headmaster book more and more”, Harry muttered.

“But no-one from the planet Raxacoricofallapatorious has the power of hypnotism”, the doctor said, “Well it can’t be strong hypnotism then, which means I can do this”. The doctor took out his sonic screwdriver and bleeped it next to Zac’s head. He fell over then sat up and looked around. The doctor then did the same to Kaylie.

“What’s going on?” Kaylie asked, “Why are all these people marching about?”

“Listen”, the doctor said, “I know what this monster is it’s a creature from the planet Raxacoricofallapatorious. I want you two to fill up some spray cans with vinegar from the kitchens. If a creature attacks you spray them. Don’t spray them for the sake of it. I’m going to do a deal with them”.

“But they killed the teachers”, Harry blurted out.
“What now?” Kaylie said, “The teachers are dead?”
“Vinegar why vinegar?” Zac asked.
“Where’s this planet”, Kaylie asked.
“Raxacorico- what?” Zac asked.

“All right!” The doctor said, “Just do as I say, Harry you come with me I might need back up”.
“Good luck”, Zac said as the doctor walked off.
“Good luck to you too”, Harry said as Zac and Kaylie jogged off to the kitchens.


“So Richard you haven’t eaten anything this morning do you want a cup of tea”, Georgia said then she remembered that he hated tea.
“Yes please”, Richard said surprisingly. Georgia froze then thought about all the weird things that he had said since she arrived. Maybe he was under control, she had to find out.

“Would you like some pepper and salt in that”, Georgia asked. Richard looked up and nodded. Georgia was certain her brother was an alien!
