Episode 4: The Demon Headmaster Part 3

Harry got out his torch and shone it in the direction of Kaylie and the figure. It revealed that the one holding Kaylie was… Bert!

“Bert what are you doing?” Zac asked. Bert let go of Kaylie as he realised who it was.
“Oh it’s you Kaylie and Zac and Harry”, Bert answered, “I’m really sorry I thought you were burglars”. Just then there was a loud crash and the corridor doors crashed open. Mr. Roberts was running towards them.

“We thought you were dead”, Harry told him as he ran up to him.
“I escaped”, Mr. Roberts answered, “Back to the present, run!”
“From what”, Kaylie asked, “And what are you doing here?”
“An alien”, Mr. Roberts answered, “I won’t ask if you don’t”.
“Me too”, Bert answered, “Although I wasn’t doing anything bad”. Zac nodded as the corridor doors crashed open again.

“Run!” Mr. Robert shouted as a large green monster ran into the corridor. Zac was in front followed by Mr. Roberts and Kaylie, Harry was just behind Kaylie but Bert was far behind. As the group got to the front doors, they realised that Bert was very far behind.

“He is so bad at running”, Kaylie said as Mr. Roberts ran down the corridor to come face to face with a slitheen. Bert had vanished. The creature raised its claws into the air high above Mr. Roberts but then Kaylie grabbed Harry’s pen knife and chucked it at the monster. The knife hit the monster in the stomach and the creature yowled in pain. Mr. Roberts ran back and they all ran back out of the school.

“You lot need to be more careful”, Mr. Roberts told the three, “next time I may not be here and you could’ve been food for that thing.
“Message received and understood”, Kaylie answered as Mr. Roberts ran through the school gates.
“Well done Kaylie”, Zac said, “But I wonder where Bert went”.
“I wonder why Mr. Roberts was here”, Harry said.
“Well that mission was sort of failed”, Zac said, “but now we know that aliens are here”.


Meanwhile Georgia and her brother Richard were watching the half ten news. There was a female news reporter on screen as well as a picture of Conner.

“Conner the 14 year old boy has returned home”, the reporter was saying, “No-one really knows what had happened to him. He turned up earlier tonight and visited his parents who are working on the Spidership…”

Richard had his arms crossed as Georgia switched the TV off.
“So Conner was travelling with you in the TARDIS”, Richard asked.
“Yes he was”, Georgia answered, “But the doctor got the co-ordinates wrong. We ended up two months after we were supposed too”.
“Right”, Richard answered blankly.

“How are Mum and Dad?” Georgia asked.
“Fine”, Richard replied.
“Did Mum like her Birthday present from me?” Georgia questioned.
“I don’t know”, Richard answered, “I haven’t asked”.

“Honestly, you are being blank today”, Georgia said, “Are you really tired?”
“Yes I’m really really tired”, Richard replied.

“Well I’m off to bed goodnight”, Georgia said marching out of the room. Richard just sat there blank faced. He then stood up and put his hand on a wall. All the information in his brain poured out of his head and into the wall, that was in fact linked to a ship far above the Earth.

“So I hear Conner’s back”, Zac’s mum was saying as he packed his bag for school.
“How do you know?” Zac asked.
“It was on the news while you were out last night”, Zac’s mum answered, “Try and find out where he was, Conner’s mum just phoned and you’re his friend”. Zac nodded and left for school.

When Zac arrived he waited outside the school gates. Conner always arrived on the bus so Zac guessed that’s how he’d get there. Bradley and his gang walked past whispering, “We just saw a weirdo new teacher arrive, bet he’s an alien”.
“Why do you think that?” Zac asked.
“Cause he just came out of a big blue box”, Bradley answered. Zac turned to see Conner walking out of the TARDIS. Conner’s tie was really short, Conner thought it looked cool.

“Conner that tie is out of date”, Zac said, “No-one wears their ties like that anymore”.
“What, it’s cool”, Conner replied and then looked about to see no-one wearing their tie short, not even Bradley. “How come everyone looks neater?”
“Must be your imagination Conner”, Zac replied when he saw the doctor. The three walked through the school gates. The tie thing was not Conner's imagination everyone was so much neater than usual.

“They have no need for a supply teacher apparently”, the doctor said smiling, “So Zac what is going on here then”.

“The school has been infiltrated by aliens”, Zac told them, “We came here to investigate last night and we saw a large green alien who was chasing Mr. Roberts are ex- English teacher”. Harry and Kaylie had now appeared and were listening.
“Mr. Roberts”, Kaylie began, “Told us that all the teachers were aliens. That’s why they’ve been farting a lot more!”
“What?” the doctor said as he remembered a familiar alien.

“Anyway Conner are you coming to class today?” Harry asked.
“Well if you lot are all serious about aliens then I’m not”, Conner answered smirking.
“It’s true”, Kaylie said, “We saw them, we have proof”.
“Whatever, come on Zac lets leave these loonies”, Conner said walking into school.
“Conner if you aren’t going to take this seriously”, Zac began.

“What you really think that there are aliens at my school?” Conner began.
“It’s not your school anymore you missed 2 months and no-one knew where you were”, Zac replied, “So many things have changed since you vanished, it’s no longer your school if you’re going to keep travelling with him”.
“Maybe I’m not going to travel with him anymore!” Conner shouted leaving everyone silent. Conner then stormed off.

“Your friend is horrid!” Kaylie said to Zac, “Why won’t he believe us?”
“Big D”, Harry said, “We’ve got more proof than just seeing the aliens”.
“Really?” the doctor asked still looking in Conner’s direction.
“It was two months ago just after the octopli invasion”, Harry continued, “Everyone was celebrating the octopli leaving Earth but then no-one noticed another ship go over”.
“It was the same ship that crashed into Big Ben I’m sure of it”, Zac remembered, “But that was a hoax wasn’t it”.

“Anyway, then the Head got replaced and some teachers started farting more”, Harry continued, “Also since then the kitchen has been out of bounds. There are rumours of an explosion and one the teachers has gone missing”. Just then the bell for assembly rang and everyone started walking in the direction of the hall.

“I’ll skip assembly to show Big D the kitchens, you two go”, Harry said to Zac and Kaylie.
As they walked a long Zac said, “Isn’t Big D a nickname for Dudley in Harry Potter?”
“Oh yeah”, Kaylie said as she giggled. They settled down in the hall, all the teachers were sitting at the sides and the head was sitting behind a podium. Bradley and his gang were whispering.

“Look to the front Bradley”, Mrs Harrison shouted.

Meanwhile Beth was asking Catherine, “So is Mr. Roberts an alien?”

Mr Ashmer, a dark teacher, then shouted “Silence girls” and they fell silent the hall was still as the head stood up and suddenly all the students stopped slumping in their chairs. They all sat up straight eyes directly to the front.

“Now then St. Marks”, the head announced, “You will be getting fit by running round the field ten times, while some of you will be doing rifle shooting with Mr. Ashmer carry on”. The entire hall stood up as one and marched out of the hall without any pushing or talking or any other sign of movement.

“It is almost time”, the head told the teachers “They will all go to war! But the doctor will be found find him now!"
